RMS rates, calendars, pictures and unit details can feed to your listing site on HomeAway, VRBO and FlipKey. When you integrate your RMS with your listings, RMS becomes the system of record. That means you only have one place to maintain your information and that is in your RMS! Here are some basic steps you need to follow:
1. Contact the listing partner and tell them you use RMS and you want to list your properties with them or if you have an existing account you want to integrate the account. 2. Let RMS Support know and we will send you a comprehensive document of everything you need to know! 3. If you have existing listings that you have been maintaining separately you must enter the information that is on your listing sight into your RMS. 4. The current listings must be matched to the RMS Unit ID. A document is supplied by your onboarding coordinator for you to fill out.
You can create beautiful listings that are searchable by travelers from all over the world. You can even allow guests to book through the listing site straight into your RMS!
Here are some common **ERRORS**:
-You have pictures loaded in the listing site but not in RMS. You MUST have beautiful photos! Solution: Upload your photos using File Manager at resortpilot.com
-You do not have longitude and latitude in RMS. Solution: Convert your properties address to longitude and latitude. Enter your properties address into a Converter.
-You have descriptions on the listing site that you do not have in RMS. Solution: Listing descriptions can go in Web Comment fields 1,2,3,4 OR in the AUD Portal in the Listing Description field.
-You cannot find the amenities in RMS that you have in the listing sites. Solution: We provide more amenities in the AUD Portal. Information is included in your HA Setup Document. The AUD Portal allows you to fully embellish your unit with more details and amenities to create a powerfully popular listing!
